Planning your event

When it comes to choosing a day for your cooking activity we have noticed that some days are more popular than others. Most requests we receive are for Wednesdays and Thursdays, perhaps because it feels more natural for many to eat good food and drink in the part of the week that’s closer to the weekend.

Unfortunately this leads to us often having to turn down requests for bookings as these days are booked out far in advance. Not having space for a group that would like to come is a real shame and therefore we have some tips here to consider when you book your activity with us.

  • Start by contacting us before you decide on a date. You can then find out what’s available and make a preliminary booking (which we can change if needed) before you invite your guests.
  • Remember if you’re inviting clients that Wednesdays and Thursdays are the days most people book for activities. Why risk competing with them and possibly be without a booking? A Monday is a far safer bet in terms of attandance at your event.
  • Regardless of if you’re planning an internal team building activity or a client event you will need time to follow up on the event. If the activity is earlier in the week then you have more time to continue building on the feelings of rapport and stronger relationships.

Good luck with your planning and we look forward to seeing you here at AVEQIA soon!
