Wine tasting per region or country


This is a more classic take on wine tasting. In each classic wine-producing area the producers and residents prize their terroir. In this tasting we explain the term terroir and delve deeper into the conditions that affect the wine in the bottle, looking at everything from the composition of the soil, rainfall and temperature changes during the year to which version of the grape that is used.

This an extremely complex system, which we examine with a sense of humour whilst we sample some truly fine wines.

Examples of tastings can be “Different grapes from Alsace but in the same style” alternatively “Traits in a wine from Tuscany”.

Our wine tastings can be carried out as a single activity or in conjunction with a cooking activity.
