Background: David Collard is originally from Reims in Champagne. David has classical French training and has worked in Michelin- and top class restaurants in both France and the UK. A selection of restaurants David has worked at are; Colbert, Brasserie Zedel, Café Luc, The Wallace Collection, The Langham Hotel, Fleur (Gordon Ramsay). He was the private Chef for Francois Mitterand at the Palais de L’Elysee Paris during his presidency. He has also worked with Joël Robuchon, Michael Caines and Marcus Wareing.
David describes himself as gourmet. In his spare time he likes to enjoy good food and wine in the company of friends and family. As often as he can he takes his bike or car and drives down to his uncles’ farm and vineyard in Champagne.
