Background: Johan has experience working in some of Stockholm’s most popular restaurants; Gondolen, Restaurant BAR and renowned Lux, where he was Head Chef for the duration of his final year.
Johan is born and bred roughly 30 km from Sundsvall where he was raised on a small farm, influencing his love of nature. Growing up, his family kept many animals; chickens, horses, calves, pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats and sheep to name a few and his love of cooking began as a young boy. Johan is also an avid fisherman.
Johan has competed in Chef of the Year where he made the final in both 2013 and 2014, taking the silver medal in 2013.
