Roger swapped a successful career in media sales and marketing to follow his passion for food and cooking in the late 90’s. “After developing other peoples creativity I decided to focus on and develop my own creativity through food.”
He trained at the critically acclaimed gastro pub ‘The Havelock Tavern’ and progressed to running the kitchen as Head Chef. Under his charge in 2009 the establishment was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand.
“In my spare time I love to walk, cycle and travel. I love nature and the outdoors, enabling me to grow and forage produce to enjoy for my family meals.”
Roger is inspired by how good food and good company can elevate moods and connect guest’s minds, bodies and souls.
