South African-born, Linda retrained as a chef after 25 years as a journalist. While training she worked at the famous River Café and Chez Bruce in London.
Although she learnt to cook in Africa, on a farm where meat and organic, fresh produce were seasonal and high quality., her main food influences are French.
Linda has worked as a menu and wine list consultant and been a director at Pestle and Mortar Events, Bootleg Banquet and Daffodil Soup.
AVEQIA allows her to combine all her skills and experience, and she delights in sharing techniques and flavours with guests and seeing them express themselves through food.
