History

The Lornet family has been a winemaker for several generations in the Jura and today Domaine Frédéric Lornet owns 20 ha of vineyards spread over two appellations. Based in the heart of Arbois in the mountain village of Montigny Les Arsures. Frederic Lornet’s style is to make focused and mineral driven wines.

Winemaking

The grapes are harvested by hand and pressed, sedimentation and fermentation takes place in vats with temperature control below 25°C. The wine is then stored on the lees in oak barrels, bottled immediately after the malolactic fermentation has taken place.

Gray marl soil from the Jurassic period

Flavor profile

Fresh and clean with floral aromas and excellent minerals, driven by its freshness and minerals.
