The vineyard Berg Schlossberg is one of the world’s most reknowned vineyards for Riesling!
On top of that, Kloster Eberbach is Germany’s oldest wine producer, with monks growing vines on the property as far back as 1136.
The vineyards are beautifully located on the steep southern slopes facing the river Rhein, an area that is famous for producing some of the world’s best riesling wines. Despite Rheingau comprising a mere 3 % of the total German winegrowing area it must be regarded as the historically most important region in the country.
The vineyards stretch over close to 230 hectares where sustainable wines are produced. The sustainability ethos is a key philosophy in the work at Kloster Eberbach, in everything they do in the vinyard to the bottling and vinification process.

TERROIR: stont and quartz rich
