Since its inception, this small wine estate of 15 hectares of vineyards has had the philosophy of producing wine entirely ecologically and biodynamically. Lorenzo Zonin created his first wine from the property in 2007 and there were two specific factors that were the main reasons for his acquisition of the property; the favorable cool nights that arise thanks to the winds that come in from the Mediterranean and the nutritional soil that provide ideal conditions for tasteful yet elegant wines.
Vinification & Terroir
The wine is fermented with the natural wild yeast found in the vineyard and maturation takes place on older oak barrels that do not give off any taste of oak.
Terrior: Nutrient-poor soil with high proportion of gravel and mineral richness.
This is a medium-bodied and fresh wine with tones of red cherries and spices. It is a modern and elegant style of the Sangiovese grape.
