Waxholm had a brewery until 1954, and it then took 50 years before it was revived by Mats-Eric Grön. He was an enthusiastic home brewer that decided to start the business together with Jessica Heidrich, a well-known and brewer with multiple victories from brewing competitions. The two are creating interesting, traditional beers with a new twist at Rindö outside of Stockholm.
Waxholm’s brewery uses three types of malt and hops with a generous bitterness to create this traditional beer with modern flavours.
This is a fresh English IPA. It has elegant tones of malt with oat bisquits and caramel. The flavour is nuanced with aromas of hops and a pronounced bitterness.
