”Creative conversations in the kitchen with colleagues is what fosters great relationships.”
Pär Andersson, chef AVEQIA Stockholm.
Pär has worked at a number of top restaurants in Stockholm, and also run a couple of his own. In 2010 he became Östgötakock och the Year and he was awarded Hagdahls Award in 2011 for his engagement in local produce & products and for his way of promoting them in a creative way.
He also hosted a radio show on food in P4 where he discussed cooking trends and shared tips and tricks with his listeners.
”The great thing about a long career is that I’ve been able to come from the “old” classical style through an incredible period of development that the restaurant industry has gone through. This drives me to constantly reinvent myself as a chef.”
In Pärs free time he likes to hang out with his family, watch football, run a marathon or sometimes even farther than that. Right now he’s trying to learn more about all the edible things that can be collected in nature.
“Now my kids have flown the coop, family dinners become big projects where everything from classical slow roasts to seven-course tasting menus are produced”
